Die schnelle Rotation der Kokille erzeugt eine enorme Zentrifugalkraft. Dies führt zu einer ebenfalls enormen Kompression: das Material erstarrt und gleichzeitig wird ein Schmiede-Efekt erreicht. Dadurch bekommt man ein kompaktes körniges Gefüge mit folgenden Vorteilen:

     Impurity-free metal

     Perfectly sound and dense alloys with fine, homogenous structures free from inclusions or      blowholes

     Isotropy of physical properties

     Fineness and coheson of the grain, which ensures an excellent dimensional stability under      cooling, and high resistance to strain, wear and corrosion

     Excellent mechanical characteristics, which can be considered equivalent to those obtained with      rolled and forged products. Longitudinal test coupons give the same results as transversal test      coupons

    Excellent axial simetry of the product (concentric) which permits obtaining components which do     not deform under temperature variation
